MADE NORTH CANTERBURY Releases 2021 Goodies Box
Local foodies, rejoice: MADE NORTH CANTERBURY has released its 2021 Goodies Box. The box includes 10 food and beverage items from North Canterbury producers, packaged in a branded MADE NORTH CANTERBURY box.
Released in time for Christmas, the box follows last year’s popular MADE NORTH CANTERBURY Christmas Hampers, which sold out in days.
MADE NORTH CANTERBURY Food & Beverage Business Development Manager Amelia Norman said, “The popularity of last year’s hampers showed us just how keen people are to support our small local producers. This year we have kept the idea the same but have switched up the products a bit and introduced a sturdy new branded box. We’ve also introduced online sales.
“As a gift, the MADE NORTH CANTERBURY Goodies Box is hard to beat: it’s generous, delicious and supports our local food and beverage producers. As we read more and more about potential Christmas supply and delivery issues due to COVID-19, we’re pleased to be able to offer an alternative gift that comes without that stress.”
The 2021 box is available to purchase on the Canterbury Nuts website for $80+GST with free delivery to parts of North Canterbury and Christchurch. Pick-up from Canterbury Nuts in West Eyreton or Enterprise North Canterbury (ENC) in Kaiapoi is also an option.
Enterprise North Canterbury launched MADE NORTH CANTERBURY in 2020. ENC Chief Executive Heather Warwick says the organisation is anticipating another rush on sales with the release of the Goodies Box. “We have a limited number of boxes this year and we have no doubt that these will be snapped up quickly, like last time. We were heartened by the huge support we had from our local business community last year, with many businesses giving the hampers as gifts for staff and supporters. Local businesses supporting local businesses is what we always love to see.”
