Celebrate Pies
MADE in NORTH
CANTERBURY
North Canterbury is home to several award-winning pies, so we thought why not celebrate them with a trail? It seemed like the perfect way to do just that. This event supports our local makers and bakers through the MADE NORTH CANTERBURY platform of Enterprise North Canterbury. It is designed to be a light-hearted, community-driven campaign packed with kiwi humour and pie puns. Feel free to use the trail even if it's not July! Eat & Share Hit the trail! Grab a pie from any of the stops across North Canterbury. Throughout the month of July we have our yearly event where you share & tag, review and go in the draw to win prizes. We also have our yearly Pie Hard Challenge! TikTok trending_flat

OUR 2025 Congratulations to Paul, who’s officially earned bragging rights as our 2025 Pie Hard of the Year. He left the most reviews, and proved he’s as dedicated to pastry as he is to pumping iron. Enjoy your new YETI - you’ve earned it.

We had over 350 pie lovers get involved, leaving reviews, shouting out their faves, and showing just how serious North Canterbury is about a good pie.

Love pies and think you’ve got what it takes to eat your way through the trail? Give it a go July 2026!
