Located just off SH1 on Ashworths Beach Road, Leithfield, Better Half Kitchen & Bar has a delicious, contemporary menu chock-full of Kiwi favourites from breakfast through to dessert.
With Three Llamas Coffee, an extensive North Canterbury wine list and local beer on tap, Better Half is motivated to use and showcase North Canterbury food and beverage wherever possible. “We have some of the best produce available at our doorstep,” says owner Hamish Moir, who has turned the premises around since taking over in March 2020.
“Using local produce supports the community for growth and opportunity. I love connecting with local businesses – they’re run by awesome people who provide great products and great service.”
