Experience a month full of North Canterbury flavour. 

The North Course brings together food lovers from across the region to taste and rate the most delectable food and drink North Canterbury has to offer. From November 1st-30th, North Canterbury hospitality establishments will work with local producers to create a dish using North Canterbury products and ingredients.

 The North Course Competition Terms & Conditions 

The North Course competition starts on November 1st 2025 and finishes at midnight on November 30th, 2025.  

To enter, contestants must purchase and eat one of The North Course dishes listed on The North Course website and submit their details and rating of the dish at www.thenorthcourse.co.nz.  

Everyone who rates a dish from participating establishments goes in the draw to win this amazing prize.

Submissions received by any other means will be deemed ineligible.

Submissions deemed by the organisers as false or which cannot be reasonably verified as being genuine will be deemed ineligible.

One person will be selected as the winner of the competition through a random draw in early December 2025.

Event organisers will make all reasonable efforts to notify the winner immediately after the draw via the contact details provided.

If the winner does not respond within 2 days of the draw, another winner will be drawn from the remaining submissions.

In order to redeem the prize, the drawn winner will need to present proof of purchase in the form of a receipt, a screenshot of their account saying they were at that eatery or a photo of the dish they purchased. Failure to do so could result in a forfeiture of the prize, at the event organiser’s discretion.

The draw made by the event organisers is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The North Course competition prize consists of:

• A night’s getaway at Ridgeway in Cheviot. Choose from either the Skye House (Up to family of 4) or the River Cottage (for two people). *
• Complimentary access to Ridgeway Play – One round of Frisbee/Disc Golf.*
• A double-pass entry for two at Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa
• Tickets to North Canterbury Wine & Food Festival 2026 for two

The winner gives the event organisers full permission to use their name and photo for marketing purposes.

Employees of and immediate family members of those employed by Enterprise North Canterbury, MADE NORTH CANTERBURY, Visit Waimakariri and Visit Hurunui are not eligible to enter.
